General Laborer 
Full-time position

Job Description

• This position performs a wide variety of manual tasks including shoveling and raking material to grade, hand work, etc.
• Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
• Wage to commensurate with experience and/or possession of CDL
• Day shift including overtime; some projects may require night work
• Monday to Friday schedule with Saturday’s as needed
• General laborers will be cross-trained in several areas of daily operations to further their growth and provide them with more job opportunities. 

Position Requirements:
Must:

• Be able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch
• Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Must possess valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
• Possess a High School diploma/GED
• Display a professional and courteous attitude toward co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
• Report to work at the designated start time.
• Ability to use good judgement and problem-solving skills while adhering to safety requirements and procedures at all times.

Preferred:

• Commercial Driver License
• Previous asphalt, concrete, grading, or seal coat experience
• Previous experience doing outdoor labor work in extreme heat
